The Workspace tags page lives in Workspace view. Open it by using Tags in the left navigation. Use it to browse Workspace tags in a workspace, see which Assets each tag is applied to, and open create or edit flows. Workspace tags also appear on Asset list tables and detail pages across the workspace. Both admins and marketers can create, apply, and manage Workspace tags in any workspace they can access. There is no separate permission for this feature. See Permissions.

How workspace tags appear in the product

Workspace tags work in two places:
  1. Workspace tags page — Select a tag to see every Audience, Campaign, Destination seat, Pixel, and Report tagged with it, grouped by asset type.
  2. Asset dashboards and details — See which tags are on each row, filter lists by tag, and open Asset details to review tags there.
On list tables, Workspace tags show as colored chips in a Tag or Tags column (or in a Tags filter) depending on the page:
LocationHow tags appear
AudiencesTag column; Tags filter
PixelsTag column; Tags filter
Reports dashboardTags column
Destination seat tablesTags column
Campaigns dashboardTags filter
Workspace tags do not have their own status. Status badges on the Workspace tags page belong to the tagged Asset (for example Audience or Campaign status).

What the page shows

The page header shows Workspace Tags and a New Tag button that starts the create workspace tag flow. When your workspace has at least one Workspace tag, the page uses a two-column layout.

Workspace tag list

The left column lists every Workspace tag in the workspace, sorted alphabetically by name. Each row shows:
  • A color dot for the tag color
  • The tag name
Select a tag to open its detail view in the main panel. The selected tag is highlighted. When you open the Workspace tags page, Wrango selects the first tag in the list automatically.

Help banner

Below the header, an info banner titled What are Workspace tags? explains how tags help your team organize Audiences, Campaigns, and other Assets. Dismiss it with the close control in the banner corner. Wrango remembers when you dismiss it.

Tag detail view

The main panel shows the Workspace tag you selected in the list. Header
  • A color badge with a tag icon
  • Tag name
  • Description, when the tag has one
  • Delete, which opens an in-app confirmation before the tag is removed
  • Edit tag, which opens the edit dialog
Delete confirmation Wrango shows a Delete Tag dialog. It explains that the tag will be permanently deleted and removed from all Assets, and that the action cannot be undone. Confirm with Delete Tag, or cancel to keep the tag. Asset tabs Use tabs to see Assets tagged with this Workspace tag:
  • Audiences
  • Campaigns
  • Destinations
  • Pixels
  • Reports
Each tab lists tagged items as cards. Select a card to open that Asset. Audiences, Campaigns, and Pixels cards show the asset name, Created on with a date, and a status badge for that asset. Destinations cards show the destination seat name and Created on with a date. Reports cards show the report name, related Campaign or Pixel name when applicable, Created on with a date, and report type. When a tab has no tagged items, Wrango shows an empty state for that asset type.

Filter on this page

Tags in the left list are ordered alphabetically by name. To filter Assets by Workspace tag, use the Tags filter on Audience, Campaign, Pixel, and other asset dashboards. To search tags while applying them to an Asset, use the Tags field picker in that flow. See Create a workspace tag.
