The Audience detail page is where you review deeper metrics for an audience that has been submitted for processing. Use it to understand reach, practitioner and patient composition, and the saved rules or import details behind the audience.

How to open the page

From the Audiences dashboard, select an audience row to open the side panel, then click Open.
  • Open appears after the audience has been submitted for processing.
  • Edit appears instead while the audience is still a Draft.
The detail page is most useful when the audience is in Processing or Campaign Ready. You can also open audiences in Error status to review what was saved before troubleshooting. At the top of the page, Wrango shows:
  • A breadcrumb back to Audiences.
  • The audience name.
  • The created date and creator.
  • The current status badge.
  • The description and Workspace tags, when present.
  • Edit, which opens the audience details side panel so you can update name, description, and tags.
  • Delete, which removes the audience from the workspace.

Tabs

The detail page has three tabs: Activation, Composition, and Build Summary.

Activation

The Activation tab focuses on how much of the audience can be reached in media. At the top, Wrango shows:
  • Total HCPs, the full practitioner count for the audience.
  • Active Reach, the number of matchable practitioners available for activation.
While the audience is still processing, Active Reach and channel-level reach may show calculating states until matching completes. Below that, the Expected Reach section includes By Channel when active reach data is available. This breakdown shows estimated reach across channels such as OpenX, Meta, Pinterest, Google, LinkedIn, Bing, Reddit, and TikTok. You can switch the view between percentage and count where the control is available.

Composition

The Composition tab shows audience makeup across two views:
  • Practitioner
  • Patient

Practitioner

The Practitioner view starts with Total HCPs, then a Practitioner Profile section with distribution cards such as:
  • By specialty
  • By state
  • By city
  • By gender
  • By prescription
  • By condition
  • By procedure
For Builder audiences, Wrango also shows By decile when decile data is available for the selected traits.

Patient

The Patient view starts with Total Patient Encounters, then a Patient Profile section. While processing is in progress, patient-level cards may show calculating states. When data is available, the patient profile can include:
  • By age
  • By state
  • By gender
  • By payer

Build Summary

The Build Summary tab shows a high-level recap of the audience and the saved input behind it. All audiences see an Audience Summary section with:
  • Created on
  • Total audience size
  • Audience type
What appears below that depends on how the audience was created.

Builder audiences

For Builder audiences, Wrango shows a view-only notice that processed audiences cannot be edited. Below the summary, Wrango shows a read-only version of the saved build rules, including:
  • Included traits across Specialties, Prescription Brands, Conditions, and Procedures
  • AND and OR operators
  • Trait-level filters such as Decile and Lookback window, where they apply
  • Exclusions such as other audiences and active prescribers

Import audiences

For Import audiences, Wrango shows Audience Import Details instead of build rules. This section includes:
  • Rows uploaded
  • Unique NPIs detected
  • Rows ignored

Import vs builder on the detail page

Both audience types share the same page layout and the same Activation and Composition tabs. The main differences are:
  • Composition: By decile appears for Builder audiences only.
  • Build Summary: Builder audiences show saved trait and exclusion rules. Import audiences show CSV import counts instead.
For how each audience type is created, see Import an audience and Audience builder.
