# Permissions

> How Admin and Marketer roles differ in Wrango

Wrango has two customer roles: **Admin** and **Marketer**. Admins run the organization from **Admin view**. Marketers work in **Workspace view** on the workspaces they were invited to.

## Admin vs. marketer

    * You use **Admin view** to create, edit, or delete **Workspaces**; manage **Team** (members and invitations); and update the **Organization profile** (name, URL, logo, and similar). Only admins can do this, and only from **Admin view**.
    * You have automatic access to every **Workspace** in the organization. You do not need a separate workspace invite to open them.
    * In **Workspace view**, you use the same **Campaign**, **Audience**, **Destination**, **Report**, **Pixel**, and **Workspace tags** capabilities as marketers on those workspaces. **Go to Admin View** in the left navigation returns you to **Admin view**.
    * You set up the organization when you are the first admin invited.

    * You do not have **Admin view**. **Go to Admin View** is not shown in the left navigation.
    * You only open **Workspaces** you were invited to. Everything you do happens in **Workspace view** on those workspaces.
    * In each workspace you can access, you have full permissions for **Campaign**, **Audience**, **Destination**, **Report**, **Pixel**, and **Workspace tags**, including create, read, update, and delete.
  </Card>

## How to change a user's role

Only admins use **Admin view**, where **Team** management lives.

1. Open **Admin view** for your organization (Wrango sends **admins** there after sign-in by default, or use **Go to Admin View** from **Workspace view**).
2. Go to **Team**.
3. Open the member you want to change, then update their role and, for marketers, which workspaces they belong to.

Inviting new users and assigning **Admin** vs. **Marketer** with workspace access happens from the same **Team** area in **Admin view**.
